In February, Vitalia at Tradition’s Lifestyles Director Leslie Boehlert planned a Valentines contribution event called Have a Heart Initiative. With her team of volunteers, she invited Vitalia residents to donate gift items for Adult Day Care seniors at nearby Port St. Lucie’s Council on Aging. Resident response was generous and heart-warming. Members of several of Vitalia’s clubs hand-made gift items, including lap blankets, doily angels, socks, and adult bibs. The seniors who received the gifts were so happy that Leslie has decided Have a Heart will be an annual event.
