Always Something Going On!

The beautiful communities of Bridgetown and Somerset at The Plantation in Ft. Myers enjoy an exceptional calendar of events, parties, classes, seminars and trips all planned by Sandra Reynolds. One of the founding Lifestyle Directors of Evergreen, Reynolds makes sure that there are choices for everyone in these mixed communities. (Bridgetown has mostly full-time families; Somerset has a more seasonal population.) From January’s Flashy Car Cruise and Chili Cook-off to the pool bashes of summer to December’s Winterland Holiday Party, residents always have something to look forward to.

Aventura Isles: A Safe and Secure South Florida Community

Aventura Isles is a master-planned community of 690 single-family homes and townhomes in south Florida. Plagued by security, access, and rental-property issues, the community saw several property management companies come and go. Evergreen took over Aventura Isles in 2016, hired a new security company, implemented safety protocols, and restored balance and control in the area of rental property compliance. Props go to Evergreen staff who, in addition to the tasks mentioned above, planned quarterly meet-your-neighbor events to promote friendship and community.

Community Manager Spotlight at Somerset

Kudos to Rachel Kanel and her team at Somerset at the Plantation. This community went through a transition in 2016. Rachel created new transition policies that Evergreen will be implementing for future Transitions. She worked together with her staff, transition committee members, and the developer like a well-oiled machine. Her Administrative Assistant Faith Stacy has implemented new procedures for ARC applications and recurring invoices that is being used by all South Florida Property Communities. In addition, Sandra Reynolds has done a tremendous job creating a lifestyle enriched property.

Aventura Isles Community Spotlight

Aventura Isles in Miami had a complete staff change in 2016 that brought the community to new heights! They’ve done a wonderful job creating a perfect atmosphere for a lifestyle community allowing residents to enjoy the events curated just for them. The team goes above and beyond to make Aventura a fun place to live for the many residents day after day. With the direction of Dani, the team has worked with the BOD President to implement new procedures for guest entry and has worked diligently with security to make Aventura a safe place to live.

The New & Improved Customer Care Center

2016 has been one amazing and exciting rollercoaster ride, full of many twists, turns and loops for our Customer Care Department. In the fall the department was completely revamped with new team members, new procedures, and a brand new take on how to provide World Class Customer Service to all of our callers. The department is already receiving great feedback and a positive response to the changes. We are looking forward to raising the bar in the coming year!

Letters to Santa at Parkside

Orlando’ Parkside Lifestyle Director, Amy Mallinder, in her quest to offer “Letters to Santa” to neighborhood children, came across one letter from a little boy which came with no return address. This posed a dilemma for Amy. She wanted to ensure every child received a response to their letters. Through the power of social media and our e-blast software, we were able to locate Jacob and will be delivering his letter from Santa very soon. This is just another example of how Evergreen goes above and beyond!

Thanksgiving at Victoria Gardens

Victoria Gardens Food & Beverage Manager, Jodi Rubin, and her staff prepared a delicious and well-received take-home Thanksgiving feast for residents. It was quite a feat to plan everything and residents were beyond ecstatic to have such a wonderful homecooked meal prepared for them. Jodi and her excellent staff did exactly what they set out to do…ensure that everyone in the community had Thanksgiving dinner and they were beyond thankful!

TerraLargo Community Award

Residents of TerraLargo now have another reason to be proud of the place they call home. In additional to elegant homes in a resort-style community with excellent amenities and a great location in Polk County, TerraLargo is the proud recipient of the 2016 Florida Communities of Excellence Award in the category of Family Friendly Programming and Initiatives.

Bellalago's Annual Halloween Event

As our middle name suggests, Lifestyles is all about creating lasting memories as we offer the best events for our residents. Bellalago’s October 29th Halloween event was no exception. Evergreen welcomed 1,200 residents for the scary spooktacular HellaLago Tent of Terror! This year our theme was nursery rhymes and fairytales, along with witches, ghosts and zombies. With street entertainment from “Loud Live,” a bounce house, rock wall, trampolines, cotton candy, crafts, and oh so much candy, Bellalago has become the place to be on Halloween!
