Evergreen Lifestyles Management is honored to see two communities featured on 55Places.com who recently published their 55 Best 55+ Active Adult Communities of 2018. The two Evergreen-managed communities are Solivita and Vitalia at Tradition and they placed in the top 25 in the United States!
The Holiday Season is one of our favorites here at Evergreen Lifestyles Management. Our communities in Southwest Florida are seasonal for the most part. During the end of the year our communities are full of residents, some of which are here away from their extended families. Our goal is to make our residents feel part of a larger family in their communities. This is one of the main reasons why we offer so many holiday events.
At Victoria Park, the Evergreen Lifestyles Management team likes to bring families together for the holiday season with lots of events and activities bringing the spirit of the season alive! The festivities included viewing Frozen (in costume), lots of fun at The Nutcracker holiday event with treats and games, and Dinner at Santa’s Workshop!
The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind is the beneficiary of Trailmark’s Silent Auction fundraiser this November. Lifestyles Director Lynzi Chambers is getting the word out about donations, and already, contributions include gift baskets, rounds of golf, tickets, rentals, and a Greek dinner for four.
Under the direction of Regional Manager Wesley Hunt, Evergreen Lifestyles Management is taking on northeast Florida’s newest properties. Groundbreaking management software and dedication to knowledgeable and professional practices is helping to set it apart from other companies and gain a foothold in the region.
Bankruptcy left the north Florida coastal community of Amelia Walk stalled and untended. Evergreen Lifestyles Management took it on in 2014 and, under the leadership of Wesley Hunt and Jennifer Erickson, and the participation of AV Homes, has turned the community around. New homes are selling again. Landscaping has been revitalized, a new entrance installed, and the Amenity Center refreshed. The expanded Lifestyles program draws eight to ten times the number of residents that it did in pre-ELM years. It’s a community that is back in bloom.
Lifestyle Director Justine Tucker, working with Run 4 A Cause race management company, this past March pulled off the biggest-yet 5K race event at Victoria Park in Deland, managed by Evergreen Lifestyles Management. Over 430 participants from the town and the community ran in “The 14th Annual Victoria Park St. Patrick’s Day Chase the Leprechaun 5K.” Sponsorships and registration fee profits went to benefit several organizations, including Give Kids the World, the Kiwanis Club of Deland, the Deland YMCA, and Freedom Elementary School. Justine is already looking forward to next year’s race.
A little boy named Leo made a difference in his Evergreen community when he picked up discarded materials left at an entry fountain feature. Parkside community Lifestyle Director Amy Mallinder heard about it and rewarded him with puzzles and a decorated cookie. Older kids at Parkside regularly help with events and activities in exchange for Bright Futures community service hours. Mallinder uses forms developed by Evergreen specifically to record and track Bright Futures hours that go toward requirements set by this Florida college scholarship program.
The beautiful communities of Bridgetown and Somerset at The Plantation in Ft. Myers enjoy an exceptional calendar of events, parties, classes, seminars and trips all planned by Sandra Reynolds. One of the founding Lifestyle Directors of Evergreen, Reynolds makes sure that there are choices for everyone in these mixed communities. (Bridgetown has mostly full-time families; Somerset has a more seasonal population.) From January’s Flashy Car Cruise and Chili Cook-off to the pool bashes of summer to December’s Winterland Holiday Party, residents always have something to look forward to.
